SHS camps start May 31

Sweetwater High School will host the following summer camps.

Volleyball Camp

For Champs Dates: May 31-June 2

This camp will be held at the Sweetwater High School gym. The cost is $40 which includes a camp shirt. The first session is 12:30-2:30 p.m. for students entering grades 4-6 and the second session is from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for students entering grades 7-9.

Sweetwater Mustang Tennis Camp Dates: June 1-3

This camp will be held at the SHS tennis courts. Students entering grades 1-5 will be in the Division 1 camp from 8-10 a.m. and students entering grades 6-9 will be in the Division 2 camp from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The cost for one camper is $30 and $15 for each additional sibling. Each participant is expected to wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes, bring a tennis racket if they have one, have a thermos of water and have proper sun protection. Sweetwater Girls Basketball Camp Dates: June 6-9

This camp will be held at the SHS gym and is for students entering grades 1-9. The first session is from 9-10:30 a.m. for grades 1-2 at a cost of $25. The second session is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for grades 3-6 at a cost of $30. The third session is from 2-5 p.m. for grades 7-9 and costs $45. The cost includes a basketball and camp T-shirt. Sweetwater Mustang Baseball Camp Dates: June 6-8

This camp will be at Sportsman’s Park (the high school baseball field). Cost is $50 for all campers. It includes a camp T-shirt. Students entering grades K-6 have camp from 9-11 a.m. and students entering grades 7-9 have camp from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Signups are accepted the morning of June 6. Make checks payable to Steven Biera. Bring registration the morning of June 6. Venmo payments are accepted. Please Venmo to Laurie Biera@Laurie-Biera. Sweetwater Youth Soccer Camp Dates: June 13-15

This camp will be at the Sweetwater youth soccer fields. The first session is from 9-10:30 a.m. for grades 1-5 at a cost of $30 while the second session is from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for grades 6-8 at a cost of $35. The cost at both sessions includes a T-shirt.

Sweetwater Mustang Football Camp Dates: July 25-27

This camp is at Mustang Bowl. The first session is from 8-10 a.m. for grades 3-6 and the second session from 10 a.m.-12:15 p.m. for grades 7-9. Cost is $20 per camper. All checks are payable to Sweetwater Football. At the camp basic football skills, teamwork, character and leadership skills are covered. Each camper receives a camp T-shirt and campers may sign up on the first day or bring a registration form to the field house.
