BRIAN SCOTT “SCOTTIE” HOBBS

Brian Scott “Scottie” Hobbs, 51, of Wichita Falls, Texas, formerly of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Wichita United Regional Health Care System due to complications. Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Shipp officiating. Interment will follow directed by McCoy Funeral Home. He was injured in an ATV accident in 1992 and lived his remaining years confined in a wheelchair as a quadriplegic under the care of his mother but today is free to walk with Jesus in Heaven. Scottie was born to Dennis Dale and Shelia (Webb) Hobbs November 17, 1970 in Sweetwater, Texas. He was a graduate of Sweetwater High School in 1989 and played football for the Sweetwater Mustangs. Scottie worked for Lucent Technology (AT&T) for (1 ½ years) before his accident. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Jean Webb and Jimmie and Lucile Hobbs. He is survived by his parents, Shelia and Dennis Hobbs of Wichita Falls, TX, a sister, Tamme Denise Hamill of Wichita Falls, TX, four nephews, Colton Tyler Hobbs and Justin Cade Hamill of Wichita Falls, TX, Austin Hamill and Hunter Hamill of Wichita Falls, TX, one niece, Kylie Hamill of Wichita Falls, TX.
