S.N.A.P. Accepting Donated Items for Christmas Grocery Bags for Seniors

The City of Sweetwater Senior Nutrition Activities Program (S.N.A.P.) is asking for donations for Christmas Grocery Bags for local homebound seniors. Food items and monetary donations will be accepted until Friday, December 14. Food items needed are soups, stews, pasts, tuna, gelatine, pudding, fruit cups, Vienna sausages, crackers, cookies, oatmeal packets, protein bars, Carnation Instant breakfast and other non-perishable items and canned goods. Monetary donations are also accepted as are checks. Please make checks payable to S.N.A.P. and mail to P.O. Box 450 Sweetwater,

Texas 79556. Donations (and checks) can dropped off at the S.N.A.P. building at 1701 Elm Street Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. SNAP will take in items until December 14. Nolan County 4-H kids will be here on December 15 to get the items packed.
